  • I have the same problem, HELP ME!!!!!

I Have deactivated the plugin and removed the widget but the break remain…

    https://www.carmelodimauro.com

    Can you help me???

same problems, no data if I choose 1 day / 7 days / 30 days and same problem with the blog.
I had to switch back to 2.21.

    mfa72,
How were you able to switch back to 2.2.1?

I think I will do the same.

    Thank you.

markross1967, I guess you should remove wpp altogether and then reinstall 2.2.1. I don’t know what will happen with the database and that’s why I haven’t still downgraded.

    Thank you rahmis.

I am not sure where I can DL version 2.21?

Beyond that, if you do uninstall it altogether, you may lose all of the data associated with it. I’m not completely sure, however.

You’ll find the download link in one of my previous posts in this thread.

Losing the data worries me too and that’s why I’ve decided to wait.

Ok, now my blog is right.
I deactive the plugin and after 30/45 minuits it was ok.

But I would use the plugin, what do you sugget without losing data stats?

    (waiting?)

    Thanks!

“Losing the data worries me too and that’s why I’ve decided to wait.”

Thanks rahmis! Yes, I don’t see how we can downgrade w/o first completely uninstalling the current version.

I’ve cleared the cache, to see if that would help, and it did not. Just doing that caused me to lose the views from the last 30 days. I do not want to risk losing my all-time views. Therefore, I am with you – I, too, will wait.

    rahmis,

I uninstalled the new version, from within The Dashboard, then, installed 2.2.1, manually, and all the data appears to be retained. The data (I believe) is retained in the sql file, separate from the install folder.

But, please verify that, it you decide to go back to 2.2.1

markross1967, I did the same and everything seems to be ok!

    rahmis,

    Great!

Now, hopefully the current version will be repaired.

    Hi guys,

    Thanks for your feedbacks.

For those having the Unknown column 'day_no_time' in 'field list error, try deactivating and reactivating the plugin – it should create the missing day_no_time field into the wp_popularpostsdatacache table. If that doesn’t help, then please go to your phpmyadmin (or whatever tool your hosting provides to access your databases), select the wp_popularpostsdatacache table (it might be named slightly different if your table prefix is different from the default wp_) and run this query:

    ALTER TABLE wp_popularpostsdatacache ADD day_no_time date NOT NULL default '0000-00-00';

@markross1967 thanks for reporting the fatal error caused by the sorter() function. Will fix that ASAP.

    You’re welcome Héctor. Thank you!

how do we solve the “sorry no data so far” issue?

    Hi delfinparis,

Were you the one who reported that the widget was showing Sorry, no data so far but that the shortcode was working fine? If so, please do the following:

    # Check that your WPP DB tables are being populated with data (this probably is working fine, but just in case)
    # Match your WPP widget’s settings with the ones you’re using with the shortcode and please report back if it shows posts or not.

@markross1967: just fixed the bug you reported before. A silly mistake of mine. will push an update again as soon as I verify that everything is working as expected.
