    Yes, there’s a reason for that:

    Due to critical security issues, WordPress Popular Posts v.2.1.5 has dropped support for TimThumb. Please upgrade as soon as possible since your site may be under risk of being exploited.

    I’m already working on a workaround, but for the time being please follow these instructions.

    hey guys,

    A quick update for everyone: WPP has been updated to version 2.1.6 which addresses a few minor bugs and also re-adds the capability to manage thumbnails’ width & height.

    The FAQ has also been updated with info about the usage of the thumbnails (and other stuff as well), so make sure you check it out.

    I’m marking this thread as resolved.
