This has been suggested before and it might be included on a future release. I haven’t had the time to research about this so I can’t give you an answer right now.

Any updates on this issue? I’d love to be able to use this on custom post types.

While I have experimented with custom post types recently and kinda know what to do to add this feature to my plugin, I haven’t had time to actually do it.

Currently, I’m working on fixing some other stuff. Once I’m done, I’m taking a closer look into this.

Thanks for your offer, however it is not necessary. I’ve been quite busy in the past few months due to many other projects I’ve been working on, however I do plan to look at this once I get some spare time.

The plugin developer is busy but I think this feature is necessary since we are building website mostly with custom post since WP 3.0

Anyone found a solution to make this working with custom post?
We can’t wait other 10 months, look at the first post of this thread
