[Plugin: WordPress News Ticker] Ideas and Suggestions?

I was wondering if it is possible to insert some code into the header for example, as a widget is of no use to me being restricted to the sidebar.

First of all i want to tell you that of all the other news ticker plugins this is a great plugin for news sites. I really need below two points to get working with it asap.

1: It would be wonderful if you could make it work anywhere in the code.

2: Also it would be nice if you put the “Latest Posts” in the category section.

i have a problems, my clients wants to insert a button on the right side of the widget. i’ve opened the file but i can’t see where i can customize css and html lay out. how can i reach this goal? thanks!

Is it possible to switch it off for the home page but only activated for individual posts?

I too would like to be able to add a line of php to my template files to make it appear at the top of my site, above the breadcrumbs for example.. is this possible?

I created a new widget area and added the widget for the ticker there – works great but it would be easier for others if you could simply copy and paste a line of code into your template files.
