[Plugin: WordPress MU Sitewide Tags Pages] Main blog posts permalinks broken / unreadable

  • Hey guys,

    So I have sitewide tags and multisite everything working nicely, all until I discovered one problem..

    I have sitewide tags pull the posts into my main blog, the networked blog posts are all fine, however, I realized posts on the main blog itself have become inaccessible. The hyperlink is broken/wrong. What was previously ” yousite.com/2010/09/20/hello-world ” is now ” yoursite.com/blog/2010/09/20/hello-world ” removing the blog from the url doesn’t help either. I have no idea how to go about fixing this or ‘looking for the true permalink’

    can anyone help please ?

  • The /blog in the URL has nothing to do with the SWT plugin. It’s a built-in thing for subfolder blogs. (see: the many threads about it specifically).

    To remove it: go to Super Admin -> sites and edit the main site.
