• Just wondering if there is a way to exclude blogs marked as “mature” or those blogs that are not public from having posts added to the global tagging blog.

I think this might be a nice addition to this plugin so that members with privacy issues do not get private blogs posts published while the rest of the site can prosper from the nice global tagging system from those that don’t mind having their posts published.

    Thanks,

    Trent

Also wondering if anyone knows why using the this plugin with the latest version of Prologue would produce the following type error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_insert_category() in /www/wp-content/mu-plugins/sitewide-tags.php on line 120

I read here as well that shows that error when using a plugin that replicates posts from RSS feeds.

Not sure, but looking for ideas ??

I’m finding the same problem – results in a white page of death when posting an update on a Prologue-themed blog on WPMU with sitewide tags. The post does get published, though. And there is no visible problem with posting from the regular Write Post admin interface. Wonder if it’s a bug in Prologue’s embedded post form?

Got this fixed in trunk. Had to include an wp-admin header file so the function was defined.

    Hi donncha,

I’m just wondering if in the next version of the plugin, you could add a new admin option where we can specify which blogs to exclude from Sitewide Tags via a comma-delimited, blog ID text field.

    What do you think?

Want to add that feature Ray? You have the source code and I’ll happily accept patches!

I’ll try… although I’m not the greatest PHP coder!
