[Plugin: WordPress MU Domain Mapping] Question about subdomain mapping

    In order to map a subdomain to my WPMS blog using subdomains (not subdirectories,) I needed to add a subdomain in my cpanel pointing to the directory of my base WPMS installation. But what if another user wants to map his subdomain to their blog? The directions say that they would need to add a CNAME recording pointing their subdomain to their blog address but I tried creating a CNAME record pointing
    subdomain.example.com to myblog.wpmsdomain.com and it did not work.

  • They need to add a cname to their domain records

    AND

    you strill need to add their subdomain in your cpanel.
