[Plugin: WordPress MU Domain Mapping] I need some help with this…
-
Hello, This is my first post… I’m stuck… been struggling with this for several days, constantly, and my hosting company, GoDaddy, can’t help, apparently.
1. I’ve installed/enabled WordPress Multisite on my domain theworldnewsheadlines.com and installed the wordpress-mu-domain-mapping plugin.
2. I’ve installed and reinstalled WP many times and sought help from GoDaddy, but I can’t get the domain mapping to work.
3. Everything else seems ok: please take a look at
https://theworldnewsheadlines.com/environmentalistnews/
… as you can see, I chose the sub-directory option – I don’t think GoDaddy supports the subdomain optionAll I want to do is map my domain – environmentalistnews.com – to theworldnewsheadlines.com
I don’t want it to say
https://theworldnewsheadlines.com/environmentalistnews/I want it to say
https://environmentalistnews.com
in the address bar.But one good thing – I figured out how to add a post to both blogs at the same time. Both admin areas seem ok, except they both start with https://theworldnewsheadlines.com/
Anyway, if you can help, you’d be saving me a big headache – literally.
