Hi, I think this is a wonderful plugin. However, I have a rather difficult situation that I have been seriously stuck with.

We intend to launch a free web app that hosts individual realtor websites.

Each website’s domain will be configured like this

    username.example.com

Each website (web app) also has a blog attached to it. The domain for the blog would be configured like this

    username.example.com/blog

Because of the nature of the web app, we need control over some settings like roles and disk-space which is pretty much covered by WordPress-mu.

For the respective domain handling, I initially thought that this plugin will handle the needed CNAME configs, however it apparently doesn’t work unless installed in the root – something that is a little difficult to do.

Any pointers on how I can achieve domain mapping that allows customization of both sub-domain and sub-directory?

    Thank you for your time

It’s been a week, is it really that complicated?

Yup, the plugin isn’t suited for this at all. The blogs have to be at the root “/” of the new domain being mapped AFAIR.
