    hello, i tried everything to make it working , and i’m getting crazy after 3 days.
    even the support of Hostgator.com that i spent one hour with didn’t succeded to make it working andd suggested me to ask help here.

    my domain names are hosted by Dreamhost , and are pointing to hostgator.

    main domain name is didiermartini.com who has the installation of WordPress MU network on it, site is running, super admin panel, etc everything is working including my website on it.
    it’s set as a primary domain in MU. in Cpanel of hostgator, wild card is set so .. * at didiermartini.com

    i wanted to add a second blog to my MU WordPress.
    domain name : https://www.hearingtrauma.com hosted by dreamhost too.
    i followed all the instructions , i did the Mapping using MU Domain mapping, and followed the instructions … it’s not working. the hostgator support failed to make it working too.

    the only thing i didn’t do, because i don’t know what to do with dreamhost DNS, is the REcord Cname or Aname stuff who is explained on some blog.

    here the list of everything who has been done :
    main domain name : didiermartini.com (dreamhost)
    website installed at the root of my hostgator webhosting in MU Mode.
    second domain name : hearingtrauma.com
    point from dreamhost to hostgator server too.

    wildcard in Cpanel has been done for *.didiermartini.com
    in WP MU , hearingtrauma.didiermartini.com is mapped to hearingtrauma.com
    with : ID 2.

    the support from gator told me that there mustn’t be a addon name on the Cpanel for hearingtrauma.com to work with a WordPress MU installation and they removed it.

    since then, i’m blocked … help please !! thanks !

    Can you either park a domain (cPanel) or add a domain alias (other panels) in your control panel?

    yes i do, i just did it. i parked hearingtrauma.com and made it to redirect to didiermartini.com and it’s working. so yes, i can.

    now, it seems that hearing.didiermartini.com is working , the mapping from hearingtrauma.com lead to hearingtrauma.didiermartini.com too, just that in the adress bar, hearingtrauma.didiermartini.com are appareaing and not https://www.hearingtrauma.com

    When you are in map domains screen which one is the primary?

    ok, i just set my second domain name hearingtrauma.com as primary in the mapping screen and it’s now working ?? …
