    Hi all

Set up a domain based multisite for a 3 language website.

Mapping and everything working perfect when using my hosts file.

Problem now is that it all seems to be broken when I have tried to go live but when I switch back to hosts and all works fine again.

    By broken I mean

It’s 5 in the morning now and I am flipping out.

I have a primary domain with 2 subdomains for 2 additional languages.

    sample-domain.it – italian (primary)
    en.sample-domain.it – english
    de.sample-domain.it – german

    Also sample-domain.it has-
an A record pointed to my ip address
2 A records using en and de to cover the subdomains (I tried using the * but sending me to www where I cannot access dashboards at all)

These two sites are mapped to the english and german subdomains

    english-site.com
    german-site.it

For these domains I added A records pointing to the main IP (am I supposed to use cnames here? if so what is he prefix to use)

The result is main site working and everything else nothing.

I have no idea what the problem is and am flipping out a little.

Then i also have a feeling that it might be something to do with the virtual host setup or something server side.

    Really desperate to get running.

Any advice would be very very very much appriciated.
