• Ok, so I want to move to new domain, new server
-Installed fresh WP on new server
-Setup WPmove on old WP with FTP info and run Migrate tool. Filled the new domain info and backup folder path. Get error socket_last_error() expects parameter 1 to be resource, null given in /domains/samosvoja.com/public_html/WP/wp-admin/includes/class-ftp-sockets.php on line 59
    Failed!
    Operation terminated

So probably old host has some FTP restriction, maybe.
    – Then Copied backup files that were created manualy to new WP same folder.
    – Run WPmove on new folder – Restore. All successfull.
    – New files are in place, checked media folder for example, everything from old WP is there.
    – Try to display new WP but only get default fresh installation. Checked Control panel and no media files there or posts.

WP versions 3.4.1 What can I try next? Thanks

  • I’m getting the exact same thing. All the files are there and appear to be in the correct location – but when I browse through the media library – nothing.
