    hi all,

working on migrating my site to another host.

when i create a full backup using the backup manager, i get a blank screen in the wp backend.

i checked my ftp and it creates multiple zip files. tried downloading them and i can’t open them (guessing they’re incomplete).

my wp-content folder is about 50mb, and the zip files created by the backup manager are about 3mb. guessing it’s splitting them & stalling out or something? has anyone else experienced this issue?

    thanks!

btw, i was able to restore my db on on my new host using Migration Assistant / restore. when i look in phpmyadmin, the tables are there, but there are no posts or any other content in my wp admin.

WordPress Move extends the script execution time wherever possible but if the PHP is running in Safe Mode or if there is some kind of read/write operation limit set on your server, it may fail creating large backup files. You can use the Migrate tool of the Migration Assistant to manually create backups of directories you choose (repeat this several times until all files are backed up), or you can also manually transfer files to your new server using an FTP client or so.

Please make sure that the variable $table_prefix in wp-config.php is referencing to the right set of tables for your other issue.
