[Plugin: WordPress Mobile Pack] Switching doesn’t seem to occur on older blackberry browsers

  • In my tests with friends hitting the site with BB O.S’s below 5 (mostly OS 4.6+) I’ve found that the switcher doesn’t work and they don’t get the mobile theme, they go str8 to the desktop theme. Any ideas?

    Checked the list of browsers in lite_detection against the settings that the blackberries I’ve seen this problem on (Bold 9000 running OS4.6, Curve 8320) and can’t seem to find the reason why the switch would not be occurring.

    Any ideas?

    Would you be able to check with your friend the user-agent of his mobile device? If you don’t know how to do that, you can tell him to visit my test site at https://logme.mobi and he will see on screen the user-agent string, there you should see something that mentions it’s a blackberry. Often BB’s allow the user to configure the browser to pretend to be MSIE or another browser. That could be the cause,
