[Plugin: WordPress Mobile Pack] Change layout of Mobile Theme

  • Hello,

    Does anyone know how I can edit the layout of the mobile theme.

    For instance, it places my menu on top and since I have a lot of links there I was wondering if I could move it to the bottom?

  • I also have some changes I would like to make, such as removing the dates which show on the mobile site after I create Pages .. ie July 21 2010 by admmin I also would like to be able to not show the Title of the Page if I do not want it to show. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!

    try playing around at mobile_pack_base folder under wordpress-mobile-pack/themes

    @vvdven check the header.php and footer.php under the folder i mentioned above

    @kitmiller check index.php

    mobile_pack_base should serve as a base to customise colours and layouts playing with CSS files, if basic changes is what you need.

    If you want to change more my recommendation would be to copy the mobile_pack_base directory to a new one and work on that. Via the WPMP settings you will tell the plugin to use your preferred theme.

    we would be delighted to know about customised themes if you or pabile make changes.

    I’ve tried to change the base template and under settings point to this template but when i refresh page in my browser – i cant see any changes. Any ideas?

    Same for me. Making edits to the base theme and they are not showing up. Help?
