I’ve been researching this problem and it appears I am not alone nor is there an easy fix but I’ll try and see if anyone has any updated suggestions. I installed an SSL certificate on my site, am using the HTTPS plugin and yet I receive the following error on my site.

“your connection to macrostory.com is secure however this page includes other resources which are not secure. These resources can be viewed by others while in transit and can be modified by an attacker to change the behavior of the page.”

I have about 12 plugins on the site a few of which use javascript. I also notice the search form returns an “unsecure” warning.

Anyone have any idea on how I can find and fix these “resources” causing me headaches.

    Thank You –

It’s not necessarily related to his plug in though so before bothering him I wanted to at least research further. But if no luck I will contact him next. Thanks for the link.

I figured this out and want to share with anyone else struggling. First, the HTTPS plugin is awesome. Truly awesome. Where my problem came is I use widgets on the right hand side of my site and had hard coded the URL to be https:// and I assume this was causing the SSL error on my site and thus the security hole. I changed these URL’s to https:// and the issue was resolved. Hope this helps.
