    Hi Mike,

I have no images that are loading over HTTPS as i’ve said that i’m not using SSL on front-end… I use only on the back-end as HTTPS to protect and secure lot of files stored by the authors… I’ve already uploaded the file from Github… Let me know if there i can do anything that you could assist me

    Hey Sulaiman,

Okay, then what are we trying to fix? Like I said, the URL being secure in the Media Library doesn’t matter.

    Thanks,
    Mike

    Hi Mike,

Yes, I know it doesn’t matter if it secured in Media… But when i’m in post edit area i have insert the image above the content and the image shows as HTTPS in the HTML tab not in visual tab… and if the page is non-HTTPS it shows http that’s correct but if the plugin is disabled then the images shows as HTTPS for non-http pages that’s the problem i’m having…

    Hey Sulaiman,

I use an HTML parser to fix content errors and so it parses the content of the WYSIWYG editor. I currently do not have a fix for this, but will implement one if I figure it out.

    Thanks,
    Mike

    Hi Mike,

I would like to know what’s the difference from github and the directly down via wordpress dashboard? Could you please let me know the changes?

The newest one from the repository is more up to date than the original I told you to get from Github. Github matches what is currently available, though. I keep them up to date. I didn’t want to increment the version, so I just hotfixed the changes.

    Hi Mike,

    I understand that now…

This plugin has another issue ?? that’s when you logout from the WordPress and then you cannot get in (go to homepage not https just http then type https://domani.com/wp-admin) ?? it redirects to homepage and the homepage is non-HTTPS (i mentioned above not using on front-end) only i can getting to the dashboard by typing like this https://domain.com/wp-admin and i cannot enter in because i used to protect my wp-admin folder using password protection which shows double pop one connection is domain.com:80 and another one is domain.com:449 so when i go to homepage again form the dashboard it automatically logout (i didn’t click the logout button i clicked on admin bar title)… By the way other issues are already been fixed such as file upload, redirect errors, proxy, etc…

I don’t know why is the issue happen again i was just testing out the plugin before it goes live to my website. I’m looking forward to hear from you to getting fixed this soon.

    Thanks

    Hey Sulaiman,

Go ahead and pull the one down from Github and see if the problem persists. I just put a fix in place for a separate issue, but I want to see if it fixes your issue as well. Make sure you wipe your cache or open an incognito window.

    Thanks,
    Mike

    Hey Sulaiman,

Alright, it was worth a shot. I’m not really following what’s going on, can you just send me a link? If you don’t want to post it publicly, you can email me directly at mike[at]mvied[dot]com.

    Thanks,
    Mike

    Hey Sulaiman,

Also, if what you’re talking about is you’re hitting the admin panel over HTTP, getting logged out and then redirected to the HTTPS admin panel (logged out), I’ve experienced the same issue. I’m not sure if that’s what you’re saying. I’m not really sure of a fix for that since WordPress is doing that. I haven’t really looked into where it’s occurring, but WordPress’ authentication check is happening before my redirect check, basically. There may be no way to fix it, but again, I haven’t checked.

    Thanks,
    Mike
