[Plugin: WordPress Font Uploader] Non-Latin fonts not rendering

I purchased & installed font uploader, but my non-latin based characters (N’ko language; Kanjamadi font style) are rendering as <??????>. Any suggestions? Does the font uploader only work with latin based char sets?
