As of yesterday, I have not been able to create a new draft directly from the calendar, as I used to be able to do. I am using WordPress 3.0.4 and version 1.3.1 of the plugin.

When I click on “new post” in the calendar, all that comes up is a little bar with the post date, time and an ‘x’ in the corner; not the title box, text box, etc., that used to show up. I use Firefox, but I tried Safari as well; same problem.

The edit, view, etc., functions are working fine. Also, if I create a new post from the WordPress posts menu, that then shows up in the calendar. So it’s just the “new post” functionality in the calendar itself that is not working.

    Any help/advice much appreciated.

  • Thank you for using the Editorial Calendar. I’m sorry you’re having trouble with it. Has version 1.3.1 ever worked for you? Have you installed any other new plugins lately?

When you see the problem are there any errors on your JavaScript console?

Thanks for helping me track down this issue.

    Cheers,
    Zack

    Hi Zack,

I think this started happening after upgrading to v 1.3.1, though I can’t be 100% sure, since I had a lot of drafts to work on and was not creating new posts directly from the calendar until the other day. I have not installed any new plugins in the last couple of days. No errors on the JavaScript console either.

    Thanks!

Shona and I discussed this issue offline and it turned out to be a conflict between the Editorial Calendar and LiveFyre. LiveFyre was able to resolve this issue with a very fast fix and everything is working now.

    Thanks,
    Zack
