  • Sounds to me like you need to do some search and replacing in the Download Tables tables. This can be done via phpMyAdmin. I believe the table your after is: “_download_monitor_files” – the field/attribute you need to look at is called “filename”.

    Thanks for your answer.
I already tried to find the old domain in the database. I the filename field there is the absolute path to the file. I already changed this to the new server structure.
I even deleted the plugin, deleted all download monitor related tables an reinstalled the plugin. Added a new download but even this one gets redirected to the old domain…

Several things that I would be taking a closer look at:

    1) What about your .htaccess – anything here that might be causing a redirection to your old site?

    2) Did you migrate the whole DB across with plugin related data and tables?

    3) Did you migrate across the old Options table to new domain?

    4) Perhaps there’s a plugin that is doing the redirection?

    5) When you say you moved to another domain. Did you remain with same host/server?

    6) Does it still do redirection after you disable all plugins?

    A few ideas.

    Thank you! ??
The problem was a rewrite-rule in the .htaccess…
