    Hello all,

I am having trouble configuring the downloads page using the [download_page] shortcode.

I’ve added it to a page, but it doesn’t render. The text shows on the page as if the plugin is deactivated. If I use the normal shortcode [downloads] it works ok.

Can anyone help with this? Ideally I just want a page full of downloads that doesn’t need too much configuration etc.

Alternatively, has anyone come up with a nice combo of shortcode that will allow me to achieve a simple page with a list of downloads showing an icon for the filetype, filename and a link to download (a hyperlinked filename is fine). For all I know, the downloads_page shortcode will help me achieve this, but as with many plugins it’s difficult to find decent working examples from the developer’s own site. I’m a bit new to all this wordpress malarchy, so am willing to borrow short cuts from others! ??

Any and all help is appreciated.

    Cheers, Jeff

I take that back about the example on the blue anvil site – of course….his OWN downloads page is an example…

    Sorry!

I have successfully answered my own question…

Just needed to populate more information!

(Doesn’t say that in the documentation though)
