[Plugin: WordPress Download Monitor] Download page broken links

Hey all,

I have a question. On my website I have downloads. These are placed in text like “click here to download the document” and also a download page.

The download in regular WP pages work fine, with custom URL’s (.htaccess works fine), but the downloads at the download_page do not work. It goes to /downloads/?did=1 which is a page where you can download the real file. This link works fine when I disable the custom permalinks in WordPress (which is no option whatsoever)

I have 2 questions:
1. How can I fix this error?
2. Is there an option to start the download when people press the document while viewing the download_page main page, instead of clicking through to an “extra information” page?
