[Plugin: WordPress Download Monitor] Download monitor and user capabilities

  • Hi,

    Is it possible to set a user capability for download monitor so that a user (other than admin) can only edit the downloads they have added themselves?

    So for example, to have the capability to edit_posts but not have the capability to edit_others_posts. Maybe something like user_can_edit_others_downloads.

    I am using Justin Tadlock’s Members plugin. So once the capabilities are set, it is easy to assign capabilities to different roles.

    Still no response on this thread, so I will make the question a bit more generic.

    How can I add to the existing capabilities of a plugin without overriding the current capabilities?
