[Plugin: WordPress Backup] Works but only 50%

I had it set up and making backups for weeks. Life seemed good. Then I tried to actually use the backups that I manually downloaded from the settings page and found after I reinstalled WP and needed to restore from these backups, that it wasn’t backing everything up for some unknown reason. For instance, I downloaded a backup (zip file) of all plugins, only to find out later that only half of my plugins were included in this backup. WTF? I’d rather get an error message warning me that all my plugins weren’t included in the backup rather than open the zip file later only to find that half were omitted with no explanation. Also, even for the plugins that were saved and restored, all custom settings were lost back to default (although BTE never claimed that it would restore the settings too, just that the plugins themselves would be restored).
