[Plugin: WordPress Backup to Dropbox] Unsure if database backed up

  • I just installed WordPress Backup to Dropbox and ran my first backup, but even though I looked through the backup folders, I couldn’t find a database file with the .sql extension. Will it back up the database next time? Or do I need to run it again? I’m not sure which version of WordPress I’m running and not sure how to find out, but I installed it about 2 years ago and have not updated it since.

    The backup file is located in ‘wp-content/backups’.

    ^^I can only see the index.php with “silence is golden” in there.
    is this a writing problem? I can make the wp-content folder writable but the backup folder doesn′t let me switch to 777.

    If the plugin cannot write to the backup folder you will get an error.

    The plugin removes the SQL backup after it has been uploaded to Dropbox.

    Does it make it to your Dropbox?
