    Gday 36pix,

I have not heard of anyone with this issue so far.

When you compete the authorisation can you please check that it is in your app list within dropbox (https://www.dropbox.com/account#applications) before returning the the plugin interface?

    Cheers,
    Mikey

Same problem as here, which was 2 months ago.

I logged onto the app list in dropbox and no, the app is not on the list.

I’m having the same issue. Drop box reports Success, while the plugin on WordPress reports “There was an error authorizing the plugin with your Dropbox account. Please try again.” It is an endless loop. Has there been resolve on this issue?

    Hey alex,

Can you please email me your details so I can investigate this issue.

    Cheers,
    Mikey

Hi Mikey, any luck with this issue? I’m having the same problem with my multisite install. Dropbox says success when authorizing but it’s not listed in my apps. I also get this error in WP dashboard: There was an error authorizing the plugin with your Dropbox account. Please try again.

    Thanks!

Has there been any resolution to this issue?

Not to my knowledge. I haven’t set aside the time to give Mikey my website’s credentials.

I have made some changes to avoid this issue in the latest release.

Please let me know if its still a problem.

Hi – I’m having this problem too! I was using this plugin previously and it was great. Now, we’re running a new version of our site, and trying to use the plugin gets me into the endless loop described above. When I first click “authorize,” I get a DNS lookup failed page, which leads me to the authorization page if I reload it. Then I get a Dropbox page saying it was successful, but the app doesn’t show up in “my apps” in Dropbox and the plugin says there was an error.

Any suggestions? I deleted the plugin and re-downloaded and installed it, but that didn’t help.

    Me too. ??

Happy to provide access if it helps.

Hi – I just wanted to add that I had this problem in Chrome, but I got it to authorize when I tried it in Firefox.
