• I have filled in all the amazon details and made my “/s3temp” directory writeable as requested, the plugin says it is active (i.e. no complaints about its setup).

Cron appears to firing off (here is an example of the every 5 minute schedule):
    Jul 9, 2010 @ 15:37 (1278689840) S3 Cron Schedule s3CronHook

But no files are being uploaded into my bucket (e.g. static.mydomain.com)

Any ideas what I could look at to investigate further?

  • Hello, I seem to have exactly the same problem with the Amazon S3 Plugin.
    (WP 3.0)
The plugin says it is active, but nothing seems to happen…
I’m not quite sure if there is any cron setup to be made separately.

    Anybody?
    Thanks in Advance!

Cron is working as the task is firing.
I also have a Cron DB backup that works fine, this also verifies that the issue is not with wordpress Cron itself.

I am also using WP3.0, so perhaps this is an incompatibility with WP3.0 changes!?

Seriously where is this s3temp folder and why and what do i have to do with my cron jobs?
It’s so weird man, make a genius plugin like this and then be super mysterious about what you have to do to make it work?!
It take a few sentences added to the setting file of the plugin to help the users out!
