• I have a question about this option. I have it checked. So I assume that means that any comments that are made to Facebook will be imported and put in my blog’s comments?

If so, it doesn’t seem to be working and I am curious why or what I have to do to make it work as I like the idea of that function.

I don’t have the next two boxes (Auto improve imported comments/bybass spam checks and Push comments up to Facebook). I’m not exactly sure what the second one means or if they both have to be checked.

If anyone could help me, I’d appreciate it.

  • If you dont sent auto approve then imported comments end up in the moderation queue and can be trashed by anti-spam systems.

Comments only get pulled once per hour (assuming you’ve set the import comments at the blog level).

However V2 will be out in a day and that will, in the short term, not support comment handling because I was in the middle of re-coding it all when I had to change lots of code to cope with a major Facebook change.

Ahh. I don’t even see them in my spam stuff. I’ve just clicked the box for the auto improve. Will it re-import them or probably not?

    Thanks.

It wont re-import. Was “Import comments” set when the post was made?

As V1 is dead of Oct 1st I’m not looking at the code any more.

No, import comments was not set when the post was made. I did it after as I had never seen the choice to do so. I’d like to pull in comments from back posts, too, and was hoping this was going to do it.

Wordbooker can’t pull for posts it doesn’t know anything about, and in v1 it didn’t track posts unless it was specifically told to.
