[Plugin: woopra] When activated it corrupts the Manage Plugins administration
-
When I activate the Woopra plugin my Manage Plugins administration pages are corrupted. Instead of seeing any plugins listed for any category I get garbage:
Manage Plugins
?s?\? T/? DY? ?? |? ?Z? 2? |Y? 4/? ?? ,3? ?Z? tz? d?? ??? ??v-? ?u? (? $(? ?(?
Manage PluginsI had this problem with the Woopra plugin 1.4.1.1 when I upgraded to WordPress 2.8.3. I made the mistake of activating a batch of plugins after my WordPress upgrade. I had to go into the database to manually deactivate them and then reactivate one-by-one to find out which one was the offender.
When I determined it was the Woopra plugin I assumed it was a compatibility problem and left the plugin deactivated.
I now installed Woopra plugin 1.4.3.1 assuming the problem was identified and fixed. Wrong I was.
I will post this at the Woopra forums, but this is also a WordPress concern. A bad plugin should not be able to corrupt the entire Manage Plugins functionality. With this problem I cannot manage any plugins and have to resort to manually editing the database to deactivate the offender.
