[Plugin: WooCommerce – Xero & PDF Invoice] Invoice & Order No. Issue
-
Just a preface that I am by no means a programmer or web developer, but part of my job is to manage a WordPress website (with some support from web developers) for my employers. This query has stumped our web developers, so we’re turning to anyone else who might be able to help.
We have the WooCommerce plugin installed with Xero and PDF Invoice features. The WooCommerce PDF Invoice plugin generates invoices with an “Invoice No.” and “Order No.”. The “Invoice No.” is sequential (and is generated every time an invoice is generated), and “Order No.” is non-sequential as it is generated any time there is action on the website (e.g. incomplete purchase order, query sent through, etc.).
What’s currently happening is that only the “Order No.” is being sent to Xero, and this is then logged as the invoice number in Xero. Is there any way we can get the WooCommerce plugin to send the “Invoice No.” instead of the “Order No.”?
We’ve tried checking with both WooCommerce and Xero, and both have said it’s the other’s issue.
Thanks in advance!
