• I added some new products (and deleted a couple of empty categories) to WooCommerce tonight, and all of a sudden all of the products have stopped showing on the archive view. Categories still show fine. It is as if the default archive view has been changed to “Categories” from “Both”, but I have checked this at the default level and the individual category level.
Products can still be seen on the single product page.

Does anyone know why this may have happened?

Found the issue. I also installed a plugin called Enhanced Media Library. I have no idea why this would cause products to not show, but it de-activating it has solved the issue.

    Hello Alex,

I am Enhanced Media Library developer. Please give me more information about your problem with EML. I just installed WooCommerce, added new product and category for it, and then checked this category archive page (if I understand your correctly). It works fine for me with or without EML being activated. I think I don’t understand what you call an “archive view”. Please give me a hint. I’d love to make EML compatible with other plugins.

    Thanks in advance.

Can you email me alex_hill at iinet dot net dot au – probably dont need to have the full discussion on the forum.

I have problems with some sub categories not displaying the products.
I have found it is usually one product upsetting them all and when I hide or delete that product, then all the others show.
BUT, yesterday morning, eco friendly products were showing.
Then yesterday afternoon, they stopped showing.
I have over 2000 products with another 2000 or so still to add. Would having so many products do this? https://www.cjpromotions.co.nz

the following error has been found by WebFarm support.
If this can be fixed, then this problem with sub categories not displaying, may be fixed.

    [Mon Oct 20 11:31:17 2014] [error] [client 219.88.176.114] PHP Warning: json_encode() [function.json-encode]: Invalid UTF-8 sequence in argument in /var/w
    ww/html/wp-content/plugins/ultimate-product-catalogue/Functions/Shortcodes.php on line 388, referer: https://cjpromotions.co.nz/product-catalogue/

It seems to be a recurring error, relating to the catalogue plugin.

It would be great if the problem of the subcategories not showing can be sorted ASAP, as my business depends on my website and I can’t sell products if they don’t show on my website. Below is an error that will probably fix the problem.

As at yesterday afternoon, I have 15 pages not showing on the website.
I’m sorry to keep on about this, but the website is my only tool for selling products and if the products don’t show, I can’t sell them.
Can we please fix this ASAP.

Just to let you all know, I haven’t fixed the problem, but I’ve gone through every product on the error pages and found one product thats stopping all products from showing. I’ve either hidden or deleted that product. So now all pages are showing. The problem still needs to be fixed as I have to check online every time I add a new product, and I have about 2000 more products to add.
