First of all: thank you for this great free plugin! In my case it’s almost perfect for my invoices.

I live in the Netherlands, and it’s by law that taxes need to be included on the invoice. However, the subtotal printed with this plugin is wrong. In the webshop, the prices are with the taxes included (9,99).

In the cart on my website it shows this detailed information, which is the way I want it (translated):

    Cart Subtotal: €8.39 (excl. BTW)
    Shipping: Free!
    BTW (19%) €1.60
    Total: €9.99

On the printed Invoice it says:

    Subtotal: €9,99
    BTW: €1,60
    Total: €9,99

However, it needs to show €8,39 as the subtotal. Is there any way to fix this caculation? It’s important for me because it’s neccesary by law.

  • this isn’t really wrong. it is rather incomplete. in the next version it will show the totals exactly the same way as when a customer reviews his order online.

The plugin was updated since you posted about this problem, and it is still the same thing.
The subtotal shows the total of the products purchased plus the tax total of the order (including shipping taxes)…

    This is what it shows:
    Product 1: $19.95
    Product 2: $ 6.95
Subtotal: $32.12 (when it should be: $26.90)
    Shipping: $ 7.99
    Taxes : $ 5.22
    Total : $40.11

    Thanks

This plugin is awesome, it saves me a lot of work.
@topic: I also observed this problem, but i rather think
it’s a problem by WooCommerce, not by this plugin.

    Check it out:
    1. In your shop, add a product to your cart
    2. Watch your cart <- no problem, the subtotal is without taxes
    3. Go to the checkout <- no problem, the subtotal is without taxes
    4. Now finish the buy and watch the last page that appears (containing customer details, order details, etc.) <- PROBLEM(!): the subtotal is WITH taxes!
    5. You also get an email afterwards with the order confirmation <- same PROBLEM with subtotal and wrong tax calculation again ??

This can lead to undelicious law consequences if
the subtotal prices are displayed wrong. And I guess
that this plugin asks the database what is saved.
It looks like woocommerce saved the subtotal value
    the wrong way.

I don’t know where to contact WooCommerce when it comes to
bugfixes? It’s just something that should be fixed asap.
