[Plugin: WooCommerce PIP] Order sequence issues

As I was checking our orders I realized that there are many gaps in our order sequences. I am worried that somehow I am losing customers. For example I will have three orders in a row (1546,1547,1548) then it will jump to 1559. Are these failed order attempts, are they customers who couldn’t get any further do to other issues, or is it just normal for PIP to do that? I have considered getting a sequencing plugin, but that doesn’t answer the issue at hand.
