    Hi Albrecht!

Thanks for your feedback – I am glad you had success!! ??

All people in Germany are eagerly awaiting this new add-on plugin – I guess it will be anounced both on wpde.org / inpsyde.com and woothemes.com (woocommerce sections there).

I assume they still working on some “Button-L?sung” stuff or so…

I have so many customers waiting for that so let’s hope for a good one ??

    Dave ??

    Finally it’s released! ??

Its called “WooCommerce German Market” & you can find more information here:

    Enjoy!

    @rain3r.walt3r:
    Hi there!
Thanks but I know about this for 2 weeks or so… this is some kind of a “leaked version”… The official German version is still not released on marketpress.de and there’s still no offcial announcement – not from Inpsyde GmbH and not on woothemes.com

Also to note for all users: it’s not enough to install some plugin with point and click and being “rechtssicher” this has to be checked at best by lawyer. Every shop owner has to make sure to improve all this “rechtssicherheits stuff” by active engagement – to rely on plugins alone is really not enough but a great tool for sure, that’s clear! ??

Does anybody know where I can get the detailed “Button-L?sung” information (written by a lawyer) in English? I want to send it to developers in the USA.

Hey Ramona, any reason why you need an English version of the “Button-L?sung”? We already implemented the solution in the version you have.

Just FYI, we finished up the Plugin for the German Market, so it will be published this week. The “leaked version” is a RC, but will be updated soon. So please wait some days and we will let everyone know, when the final version is online.

reason why you need an English version of the “Button-L?sung

There are lots of people in Europe who do not use WooCommerce. Developers in other continents should be ask to develope an add-on or so for their software clients in Europe. But they have no idea what our law needs (And my English is too bad to translate the “Button-L?sung” without mistakes.). Maybe I can suggest Inpsyde to develope more extensions for other ecommerce software ??

A general problem with (quite good) plugins/themes from Asia, US or Australia is, that developers there are not interested in our “problems” with lawyers and warnings. It is nearly unbelievable for them what happens here.

    Hi David,

I in need of guidance from you, as I have tried everything to get the DE plugin to work, but can not..

It installed correctly, but everything is still in English.. the wp config.php file has the define (‘WPLANG’, ‘en_GB’); in it, so I do not know what to do!!

    Please help me..

    Thanks for your feedback!

It’s always better to make new support thread for every question :).

    However, back to your issue:
I’ll guess you’ll only need to change the constant in wp-config.php to this:

    define( 'WPLANG', 'de_DE' );

    …and all should work :).

    Hope this helps, Dave ??

    David,

OK, that definitely did something!! It changed the entire wordpress dashboard to German (including woocommerce obviously), is that what was supposed to happen.

I thought that your plugin was only for the woocommerce part of the system, not the entire wordpress functions..

The wp.config file I changed with your suggestion above was the file in the main wordpress directory in my installation. Is this correct?

If it should only be in a config file in the woocommerce pluggin directory, I could not find it.

I thought your pluggin was specific to woocommerce so that it provided an addition ‘tag’ in the settings area which allowed you to set the German settings..

Looks like the whole dashboard is just changed to German..

    Hope you can advise..

    Hi Mike!

All what you’re describing is completely the default behavior of WordPress! You did all right, as far as I can see from here! ??

The constant in the config, the Locale, is always global for the full installation. There’s no chance to have WP frontend/backend in English but only one plugin in German. That’s just not possible. Has nothing to do with my plugin — this only uses the standards provided by WP.

The only thing you could do, is, just setup a Multisite install and then have one site within Multisite working as default English and another one in German.

What do you want to do with your install, could describe a bit more what you or users should be able to do? So, maybe there’s other plugin etc. solutions that may better fit your issue.

    –Dave ??
