I really need help with this. Store is live and promotions are starting next week.

I have my t-shirts set as variable products (size, color, gender). I am only using PayPal to accept payment.

When placing an order without trying to use a coupon, the order goes to PayPal and is displayed correctly (ie. variables size, color, gender all show up correctly next to the product name).

When I set up a coupon and order a product (with variables) using the coupon code, the price is adjusted correctly on my site and when the customer arrives at PayPal, the price is correct, but the variables are not showing up with the order.

I really need both the coupon to work as it is part of promotions with several YouTube figures and I really need the variables to show up at PayPal because the orders go directly to the printer from there.

Likewise, the order emails to myself, the printer and the customer do not show any of the variable data. This makes it virtually impossible to fulfill and order without contacting each customer individually and asking what the size, color and gender were for their order. Not acceptable.

  • the paypal standard payment doesn’t support coupons. that’s why only the cart infow without any item info is transferred to paypal. there is no chance to change this, it is a paypal restriction.
