[Plugin: WooCommerce – excelling eCommerce] Cash On Delivery – Change processing status

  • I’ve enabled the ‘cash on delivery’ option in Woocommerce, which itself works fine.

    However, when someone purchases using this, the default status is for the order to go to ‘on hold’.

    However, I’d like it to go automatically to ‘processing’ – just as it would if paying by Paypal et al.

    I’ve hacked the ‘class-wc-cod.php’ file to do this, and it works. But each time Woo release an update of the plugin, it reverts my change.

    Can someone suggest another way for me to do what I’m after so that the change remains despite updates etc.

    Hi,
    Can some one tell me, How to enable the cash on delivery option in Woocommerce? I have other options enabled, but this one is not available in my site.
