Plugin won't authenticate to create shortcode

I have gone through the set up, created my app on Linkedin, added the redirect link and checked the correct boxes, but when I click Authorize it asks if that’s ok, I enter my password and say yes. It redirects me back to the plugin settings but still says “Need to authorize first”
