Plugin Won’t Activate or Uninstall

    I’ve installed this plugin on other hosts before, but when I tried downloading on a BlueHost website I’m getting the following error after clicking Activate:

    Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STATIC in …wp-content/plugins/deeper-comments/controllers/depc-controller.php on line 39

    It also returns an Internal Server Error when I try deleting it.
    I already check the minimum plugin requirements.
    Any ideas?
