Plugin will not activate.

  • I’ve got a brand new install of WP 3.5.2 on my development PC with no plugins and using the TwentyTwelve theme. So nothing special or different.

    I’ve just installed the plugin OK, but when I try to activate it I get this error.

    Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

    Looking at the error log I can see multiple entries (about 72) like this:

    WordPress database error. Can’t DROP ‘ObjectOwner’; check that column/key exists for query ALTER TABLE wp_iprojectweb_projects DROP INDEX ObjectOwner made by do_action(‘activate_iprojectweb/iprojectweb.php’), call_user_func_array, iProjectWeb::install, iprojectweb_install, referer: https://127.0.0.1/wordpress/wp-admin/plugins.php?error=true&plugin=iprojectweb%2Fiprojectweb.php&_error_nonce=149f161f83

    There’s a whole bunch of new tables in the database and the db user has full privileges. So anyone know why this plugin won’t activate please?
