[Plugin: Who's Online] Language

  • I’d like to try out the internationalization features available in PHP and WordPress. Are you able to provide translations for two strings? I assume you are targeting ru_RU, and already have that translation of WordPress loaded.

    I can definitely look into alternate methods, but this seems like the best way to proceed.

    Yes, I can. Actually I did it for my site – you can see it here:

    I’ve found that there are 3 places to be translated:

    1. Widget name (default “Users”) – I am using “Сайт посетили” (literally “the site has been visited by”). For “Users” exact translation is “Пользователи”, but it sounds too technical and too official.
    2. ” ago” – ” назад”
    3. ” Online now!” – ” сейчас в сети!”

    For “Last online” the tranlation is “Был в сети”, but it works without changing this one.

    Yes, that’s fo ru_RU.
