[Plugin: WHOIS] Blew away my site

  • After installing and setting parameters, I saved the changes and IT BLEW AWAY MY WHOLE SITE!

    I wouldn’t recommend this plugin to my worst enemy.

    Good day,

    Apologies, there was an issue but we released v1.4.2 now with a fix for that.

    The problem occurred when you tried to use the captcha image setting and you didn’t have the Really Simple Captcha plugin installed and activated so it generated a PHP fatal error.

    Is it possible to recover from the type of error that RobertSC2 described?

    If the problem occurred because Really Simple Captcha plugin was not installed and activated, would installation and activation of said plugin restore his website?

    Hi Dameon,

    Yes, installing Really Simple Captcha and activating it will solve the problem but it shouldn’t occur in the latest version anymore. What is the error that you’re getting?
