Plugin wants to update to another plugin

    I’m building a plugin for personal usage. It won’t be published on www.remarpro.com, because it’s too specific to my purposes. So I set up a new plugin (actually copypasted from another that doesn’t have this problem) and wrote some code.

    Now that it shows up under “plugins” in the admin panels, WP says there’s an update. Lolwut?? It’s not even published, so how on earth can there be an update ??

    WP wants to update it to a completely different plugin, that happens to have to same name, but different author, different URI, different license.

    So, to wrap it up: how I tell WP from within the plugin NOT to offer auto-updating?
