• W3TC executes the following command for the YUI test:
    /usr/bin/java -jar /x/x/x/yuicompressor-2.4.6.jar --line-break 5000 --type js

YUI compressor waits for the input but since gets nothing, it runs forever. And hangs W3TC forever, also.

I have to kill its process manually via SSH, just after that can I do anything related to W3TC administration.

  • Are there errors in your error log? Can you submit a bug submission form from the support tab of the plugin?

No, I didn’t see any errors in the PHP error log.

Unfortunately, I cannot send a bug submission from the web interface, because it says just like: “an error occurred”. Since it isn’t too descriptive, I couldn’t debug why I’m not able to send a bug report.

But, as I said, it executes a command (see above for the exact one), but I think it didn’t pass any argument or input to the YUI compressor, so it waits forever. I saw it from the output of ps, so maybe it’s an inaccurate observation.

If you contact me through my web site, I’ll be sure to help you with both of this issues. Sorry for the trouble.
