I just setup w3-total-cache for the first time, and observed that in addition to the /w3tc cache directory that’s creating in wp-content, it also adds advanced-cache.php, db.php, object-cache.php, and w3-total-cache-config.php. For cleanliness, I would prefer that these files reside in their own directory. How can I specify the path to the cached files (/w3tc), and how can I move these other php files from my top-level wp-content directory?

    Thanks

Those are WordPress add-ins and in live in that location because they must. I’m sorry they cannot be moved (as far as I know).

    Gotcha, I understand.

Well then, any way to tell it the cache directory at least then? I have several other plugins that all cache into subdirectories of /wp-content/cache/, so it would be nice if I could configure w3tc to could keep its cache in here as well, so everything’s together ??

That will be the case in a future release.
