[Plugin: W3 Total Cache] What to do?

    When I follow these instructions, I get to General Settings, it says

    deselect this option to disable all caching functionality

    , when I save changes, I get:

    Content Delivery Network Error: The “Replace default hostname with” field must be populated. Enter the hostname of your CDN provider. This is the hostname you would enter into your address bar in order to view objects in your browser.

    What am I supposed to do now, if I dont even know what a CDN is. Is it the name of my host?

    Not to mention its telling me to

    Make sure to and upload your files to the CDN to ensure proper operation.

    Would this be my domain name, and without uploading wont work? Where is this upload happening? Are they gonna be transferred to the total cache folder?

    I’m getting

    empty host

    when i try to upload stuff to this CDN thing. what does it mean? google says nothing about this issue!

    Don’t tick the box for CDN – you don’t need it for caching. You also don’t need to upload anything, just leave those options unticked.
