• Could you tell me whether W3TC can be configured for use with PhpBay please?

PhpBay is a WordPress plugin that generates eBay listings ‘on the fly’ using an RSS feed from eBay.

I have experimented with W3TC, and although the speed increases are fantastic, it is also caching the eBay listings so that the auctions are finished when clicked on. Is there any way of NOT caching the eBay listings at all so they always appear current when the page is refreshed?

    Thank you for any help/advice.

  • You will most likely need to tinker some or a lot with the PhpBay plugin to get it too work. My knowledge of that plugin is limited. You’ll have to confer with the PHPBay author. What you want to do is called fragment caching. You find information in the Total Cache FAQ.

If there’s a consistent URL structure you can add some stem to never cache the following pages box on the page cache settings tab.
