    Hi,
i have a slow site around 6.3 seconds for loading. So i downloaded the w3 total cache and for stats i also downloaded google analytics. My site is now 3x times slowers. Site is still new and hosted at godaddy with .nl domain name.
Can someone help me out and check out what the problem is?
    thanks

  • Your problem is probably godaddy, which has the worst and slowest hosting ever. Try something like mediatemple.net for shared hosting. I’ve set up one of my WP sites there along with procdn and it is loading quickly even with large images (https://taptostart.com)

If you don’t want to do that then disable all your plugins and widgets and test from there. Plugins and widgets slow down everything. Try running your site through https://tools.pingdom.com/ and see where the slowdowns are.

well i hadn’t any speed problems with my .com domain names. If i don’t use any plugin the speed will be around 6-8 sec.Still slow in google’s opinion. Well i used the w3 total cache to make site load faster not slower. Maybe you can have a look for getting site faster.
Well i checked out the speed testing site and i clicked on dns health. It shows me one error:
Superfluous name server listed at parent: ns2.transip.eu

A name server listed at the parent, but not at the child, was found. This is most likely an administrative error. You should update the parent to match the name servers at the cild asap.
I think that there lies the problem.
Well i changed dns servername to godaddy’s but the registrar of the domain name would not let me remove this dns : s2.transip.eu.
Do you think thats the problem?
    That would be great.
    thanks

I’m not really sure what you mean in your latest post, but setting up page caching using disk enhanced, using auto minify and a CDN with browser caching settings enabled should speed up your site.
