• I have tried both YUI and CC and both just hog down the cpu (2×2,4ghz)
but it is strange because everytime I load a page of my website and one of those minifiers is active, there are a bunch of process coming from the relative minifier that start taking ram and 100%cpu (java -jar /pathofit)
every single time a page of the website is loaded, except ofc the admin section. I guess something is not working?

The cache file isn’t actually being generated, that’s why it’s slowing down your site, can you please submit a bug submission form from the support tab of the plugin with a link to this blog post so I can investigate?

well, I actually don’t know…but maybe it is happening the same thing with jsmin too? maybe since it is lighter it is not noticable as much as the other twos…has lighttpd anything to do with this?

Lighttpd doesn’t matter, the issue is likely your servers resources or the amount of files and size of them.
