• Had a problem start this afternoon with my blog running 3.4.1 getting very slow until it finally had http 500 internal server errors and a couple generic database connection errors. Had been running beautifully with w3tc and cookieless subdomain for static content (my site and process https://www.allthingsdemocrat.com/w3-total-cache-cookieless-subdomain-godaddy-shared-hosting/). Then today one of my bloggers informed me that the built-in WordPress video embed feature stopped working.

I deactivated all plugins and upgraded to 3.4.2, but had problems with it connecting to www.remarpro.com, it failed during the upgrade, so I followed some forum advice and switched to the twentyten theme and then the upgrade worked (still think my host may be having issues). I activated the plugins one at a time and tested and the blog speed seemed ok and the video embed was working again for a simple youtube url. But when I activated w3tc the post preview added 5 seconds to it’s previous time and the youtube video would not display. Deactivated w3tc and the video displays again.

I hope you have some thoughts on how to fix this because my site was really fast with w3tc.
