• I’m running W3 Total Cache, as well as TDO Mini Forms. I’m trying to configure it so that only registered members can access the form to submit info. The problem I’m having is that the site keeps displaying a cached version of the page. So if a site user goes to the submit info page, they’re told to log in. Then when they log in, they’re served the cached version of the form, so it tells them to log in again, and this repeats endlessly, til the cache is cleared. How can I exclude forms from caching? I tried using the page cache, and entering the page that the form appears on in restrict the following page from caching, but that didn’t work. Thanks in advance for any help!

  • Including the page in the “Never cache the following pages” field should work. How did you enter the page? It should look like this:

    /page/

If you entered https://yoursite.com/page/ or /yoursite.com/page/ it will not work.

That’s exactly how I entered it. Site is https://www.wearugetit.com. Page is wearugetit.com/find-it . I entered /find-it/ in the “Never cache the following pages” field . No luck. Does it have anything to deal with TDO code itself? Within the page, if you view the page within wp admin, the page just has [tdomf_form1]. I’m at a loss, no clue why I’m unable to exclude that page from caching. Thanks for the input!

Hmmm. I’m not a W3TC expert, but I’ve been working with it for a year now and never had any trouble excluding pages. Have you tried excluding the page from the database cache as well?

Just tried that idea, no luck. No matter how many times I access the form, then log in, it keeps showing me the page that says log in. Sure enough, as soon as I clear the cache, then access that page, it shows the form. Worst case scenario, I’ll have to allow everyone to submit, instead of just logged in members…but I really don’t want to do that, for security/spam reasons. Thanks so much for the suggestions, very appreciated. Have a great one.
